Every image I provide is a little piece of my heart, and it's why I am so passionate about providing such a personalised experience. I literally live for my clients reactions to their galleries and hope that I can provide something super special for you.  

There is nothing I love more, than seeing your images hung up in their own beautiful frames on your walls. These images that we will create together deserve to be shown off and I hope you will feel warmth and love every time you look at them.

I love photography, I ADORE capturing the connections between people, families and pets. There's something so special about freezing time and being able to show my clients the beauty that everyone else sees.

WHAT I DO

I'm Pippa, well actually it's Philippa- but I don't want to feel like I am being told off by my mother, so Pippa will do. I am a natural light photographer. I first started in photography in 2015 after working in a Culinary Academy. I took all the food photographs for their website and social media. After that, I branched out into the world of people, offering everything from family shoots to full day weddings!  

Based in Bristol, travelling the whole of the UK for your love stories.

In 2015, Pippa picked up her first professional camera during a 2 day food photography course at Leiths of London, whilst working at Tante Marie Culinary Academy as their social media marketer and food photographer.

THROUGH THE YEARS

in 2017, Pippa incorporated Philly Photography and her business began whilst she was working as a Control Room Operative in the Control room at Surrey Police

IN 2017

Philly photography was Incorporated

Pippa decided that to create an actual brand she would need to change her name as people kept calling her 'Philly', and therefore Pippa Volans Photography was born.

IN 2019

Philly photography was renamed

In 2020, COVID struck, Pippa was a full time police officer alongside her business, and luckily she was as no one was able to get married due to restrictions.

Pippa volans survived covid

Pippa was still a full time police officer whilst taking pictures of anything and everything she was legally allowed to.

Pippa had met her lovely wife, Chloe who lived in Bristol.  Pippa quit her job as a police officer and went full time with her photography business.  Capturing the love all over the country and even hitting up some destinations!

Pippa knew how important a network of photographers are and therefore built a strong and supportive network of creatives whom she still works for to this day.

Pippa is now married, living in Bristol with her wife and dog, Bear- working with DREAM clients and creating absolute magic for people that hire her. 
Constantly learning, growing and investing in her company.
